The jury just sent back a note saying they’ve failed to reach a consensus and they’re not going to.
It read, "No consensus will be made. People’s minds are made up...".
It read, "No consensus will be made. People’s minds are made up...".
The Judge will now give them an Allen Charge and send them back in to continue their deliberations.
If after Allen Charge, they’re still deadlocked, then the Judge will declare a mistrial and we’ll do this again.
I genuinely can’t believe this is happening. What a nightmare.
